My Dell Latitude 610 old laptop suddenly while using switches off the display like a screen saver but nothing seen on the monitor only if I restart it will come back again what should I do

That issue is usually hardware. There's not enough detail here to call out what it could be. And even with all the details I might have to write either a clean install of the OS or replace the motherboard. KEEP IN MIND THIS: In spite of this I will share what I would try next.
- Perform the usual canned air cleaning routine. Canned air, what is and how to use is on many web pages today.
- Be sure the laptop's fans are working like new.
- After 1 and 2, try a fresh install of the OS or running a Live OS from some USB stick as a test.
