Im not inneed of the firmware.
The software on my MCE for the Drives has been Removed Misplaced or Curruptid.
i try'd the Recover crap with my Disk as well. normaly it resets the drivers if they are screwd.
This not being the case
I dont like OEM versions either.....
I want the FULL install and not some watered down stuff..
Couldent agree more
http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html <-- If down Use
http://www.mrbass.org/ubcd/<--= If still down use

This software is great.
Ez to use and understand.
and Self booting.
might wana keep it in case this sorta thing happends again
that’s Understood. But... None the less, nothing but a problem with me.
like if i get a HP
Normally the Board is MicroATX and the Bios is none updateable. and the Board its self not even the Manufacturer wants to deal with, Because HP bought the Writes for the hardware.
they use Different Hard drives as well.
As with the Same Hp it came with a WD Protégé. Donno what it is withthos, One little Bump and there done.
The Only System OEM Wize i don’t have a Problem with is Dell’s XPS the new one(don't remember the model)
But it comes with a Power Supply you can only get from dell.
You cannot Change out the case for one you like.
The Case Design Prevents you from Changing the Stock Heat pipe CPU heat sink.
OR upgrading the Case cooling at all. Removing any of the Fans for a better flowing set.
Pissis off the Bios, making a Boot stop to let you know one of the fans are unplugged.
there is Also No Setting in the Bios(is not flashable) to Change this
So yes there is a Slight difference.
Between you and them.
the systems you Build have All the room in the world to do what you want with.
Upgrade PSU's where and when you Feel like it From Whoever to whatever WattRange, Change out Cooling Equip for what you want.
…
i dont think it did, But when it comes up. It says installing New hardware, Calls it a CDrom. And then Fails to Install the drives.
Ive made Crapload's of changes to the Driverfile and Kept the Original.
But with no Luck. somthings Still missing
1. Sony CRX230ED
2. Sony DVD RW DRU-530A
it has also Removed my Emu drive From Alc120%
Board
AK77-600N
1.5 Gig's of DDR400
AMD XP 2800+
yeah no luck.....
I need to know the location of the CDrom Driver's.
The Symantec remove product tool, Has Removed them.
Thats why i said Download and Burn UBCD.
That would Tell you right off the Bat.
Just run the Windows Virtual Ram thingy.
If it says fook the ram. then the Slots bad.
Run the Chip Diag to Be sure.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\DVDRAMSV.exe
C:\Program Files\ltmoh\Ltmoh.exe
They dont need to be running, trust me you wont miss them.
I dont really see anything in there that would make problems.
Run ChkDisk
And Use somthing other then the Windows Default Defraging tool.
Like
O&O Defrag
If you like the FSB Dual Core is the way to go. If your planing on Running Paint and IE and Halo.
its not really worth it.
But if you are running a server wile playing halo, useing Skype and Making your PC do your laundry, then Dual Core is the Best thing to work with.
I have Ownd 14 OEM systems 5 of them Had HD Dropouts Some off brand of Westerndigital.

BUT for somreason this process shows up Alot when Brought up in Other Forums when Relating to the same problem.
BUT you need one AV one firewall and thats it.
Lets see whats Going on shal we?
take a blow torch and Run it quickly across the back of the board. Securing the soilder contacts... its workd for me on boards with Ram install abuse
Erm..... Pop open the Side of your Case and Look for the board model on the Board Itself, HP has a way of bending there words.
IF it comes to it. Contact HP for the Update.

Safe mode is for Troble shooting.
This means when you Load into it. ONLY the basics get loaded.
Nothing more.
Try going back into safe mode And putting it back where it was 640X480 or 800x600 depends on GC. and Try Booting back into windows Normaly

Uninstall and reinstall Adobe Acrobat Reader.
9X outta 10 that works
Um yes. But if you do that Say bye bye to WinNt.
If you want to Dual Boot your Best bet would be to use partition magic.
Any questions PM me
mer.
If you Reinstall windows, there's a slight Risk of loosing the files.
I would say, Boot into Safe mode (hit F8 wile PC boots) or just keep hitting F8 when you Turn your Lappy on.
then go into Safe Mode.
Move anything you want to Keep onto a Folder on your C: drive.
(This will prevent you From locking you out of your files If file protection is on)
Then Reinstall windows without doing a format.
Im not to Into the Windows Recovery console.
But if anything Comes up Ill be glad to help
I think I posted a similar thread berfore. I now have a PIII 733MHz EB, 256megs of ram, 60 gigs of hard drive space and an Asus motherboard. I downloaded and installed the Halo dedicated server software from microsoft. I can install it and start it without a hitch. However, when I go to try and connect to it with Halo installed on my gaming PC, I can't see it or direct IP it. When I type in the direct IP it tells me my client is older then the server. How do I fix this? I told Halo to update but there were no updates availble.
- How do I set the software up to run online?
- How do I control the server?
- What about port forwarding? Do most IPs block the port that the dedicated Halo server runs on? What port does it run on and how do I change it?
- Lastly, Does anyone have any tips or tricks for hosting a Halo server?
Thanks
ITs not halo. you need to Update the Dedi.
This can be found online
http://www.microsoft.com/games/halo/downloads.asp
Youd basicly Replace the Old haloded.exe with the 1.07
to control your dedi you must enable Rcon.
to do this Find your Halo Desktop shortcut Right Click it and Click properties.
In the Target Field Enter this
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -console
Then Run the Game from that Shortcut.
