Also check that it is the same type of RAM and is compatible with your motherboard.
E.g. ur current RAM lets say is PC3200
Ur old RAM lets say is PC2100
The old RAM wouldn't work beacuse it is the wrong type. To see what type it is, look at the RAM sticks and it will say on it.

Just as a quick question, have you got a program called 'video accelerator plus' installed?
If so, remove it immediatly!

My advice is to get a new gfx card, i did because my games went into a lag land so when i did change, the difference was brilliant, i only have an X1600XT but is still way better than what i had, an X300 :P

I like my present monitor, it runs at 1280 by 1024 resolution which is ample really, it works well, has low emissions according to a sticker on it, so yeah i don't need to change it till it breaks!

The best power option to get is probably a 570W PSU. Fairly cheap, and can power everything you have. Mostly all PSU's come with PCI Express cables now, so no worries there.

should get rid of anything, should be able to run in safe mode. Run the antivirus/anti spyware scan to get rid of all the stuff you have on it, then try to boot in normal mode.

@ hamanda, is the car in your pic an mitsubishi lancer? I think it is, you haven't told us!

Does your network connections say you are conencted to the internet?
Does this affect only the pages you said earlier, or are all of the websites unable to load?
Have you tried Firefox just to check that IE is your problem, and not your interent conenction in general.
If not then the Viruses are causing your problems, try AVG antivirus to get rid of them. There is a free version and i hear it is quite good.

The light for the CPU/HDD (central proccessing unit/hard disk drive) relates to data being passed between the two. Your RAM seems to be enough being 1 Gb your proceesor power is plenty at 3GHz, when did you buy this machine? Is it Quite old?

What is your computer? Can you include the specs as well please.

spec of your machine refers to what is your machine, how much RAM it has, what gfx card it has, What size hard drive you have, things like that. If you can access it take a printscreen of what it says under, control panel -> system, then hit the printscreen button, save it, and attach it to a post. You could paste it in Word and attach it that way.

Are the fans going really loud while the HDD light (the one that normally flickers on and off) is that solidly on or flickering on and off?

Open up the case and on the PSU it should say the figure such as '230W'.
Dell being silly have BTX do they not bennet? So if you do go to buy a new PSU look what yours says. It will either be ATX or BTX. This is in relation to the size of the unit. So check before you buy!
To run a fairly decent gfx card you need around a 500W+ PSU.

It would seem that if you can't get rid of the viruses/spyware you may have to format your hard drive to delete them, this is a last resort method, but will definatly cure your problem. If your CPU as at high % it may e caused by overheating maybe, so check that your fans are all working correctly.
Also what are the specs of your machine please.

i know a large field at my old school which i could 'borrow'. It depends on the size of the satalites pixels to what size you have to make your image. Normally around 10 by 10 metres per pixel, depending on how high the satalite orbits around the earth.
