Sorry but I dont think you will get to much from 1024 x 768 resolution!!!
I use 17" and resolution here is 1280 x 1024, what about Dani with 23" :confused:
Also images are not of greates kvality, have ugly logo in right bottom corner, looks to me that most of them been simple scaned.

Didn't know that you can play txt files. What I think is that somebody clever opened music formar for example wma in notepad and saved that way. When I look at that site I found that person is yousing clasic BGSOUND tag

You will not find Bryce as Corel doesn't do any support for this product for past 4-5years. Only on P2P.

There are two options to do this
1. cheat, the way you just count people going for this courses and not to hold any info on them
So person apply for Business, check variable which holds value for amount of people which already registered for this option, if less than 100 send it to Brown else it is more than 100 goes to Davis, in both cases increase by one after all
2. build txt file which will work for you as database, this is more complicated you have to build algoritmus which is able to read/write database and then another algoritmus which will check how many students already on course and make decision where to send a new student

OK, I've got dreamweaver and fireworks and will probably get flash
later. I use photoshop and illustrator and I need to import stuff from photoshop into dreamweaver. Do I have the right software? What will make the photographs of my work look best on my web site.

Yes, in deed you got proper stuff. To answer rest it will be litle long so by patiance.
In Photoshop in File is option Save for Web. Here you have 4 options of view Original. Optimized, 2-Up and 4-Up. Personally I prefer 4-up which will bring you Origimal plus 3 previews of your photo with different setings. On right side of this window you have options to change: GIF, JPG, PNG and WBMP.
GIF is very good with simple graphics( combination of lines, shapes of different colour) where colour is not gradient. This format is also able to create transparency on selected colour which you do not wish to see it.
JPG/JPEG is for gradient colour when you want it see changes from one colour to next one. So basicaly for photos and graphics which need gradual change of colour. Not able to work with transparency.
PNG in this days is some kind of hybrid between this to format. So you can save your graphic in this format if you wish. I use this format in a case of buttons when I use gradient colours but need transparency.
WBMP Is product of Microsoft some people …

I have everything in a table which I have set to 100% height & width but I've put layers on it with images and text and it's these that move off the page when viewed on a smaller screen.

I do not have to much experience with dreamweaver but to my knowledge( what I was told) layer are basicly use of position in CSS. Where you give them exact possition on the screen. Ussual problem with this is screen ofset. Like you sed on small screen somethinkg moved from view.
You have only two options in my opinion:
1. To put everything in table with coloms preformated if image to be use, and leave it for browser automaticali to adjust it.
Bigger screen more text next to image or smaller screen less text next to image and page longer
2. Create all layers on smaller screen and have your site displayed like my uni http://www.wmin.ac.uk/page-0
Everything nicely lay out and adjusted to left top corner

I created prototypes of functions in cc program and tryed to compile, but got this error messages

Yes it will handle automaticaly, but the purpose of all this is also to run a check on "h" files see if any changes been done with them. If yes, you have to compile everything again. If you exlud them "make" will not detect it and will not compile for you, so you are still running on old datas!!!!!!!!!!!

Studying Computer Science on Unix platform is ussually fun expect days when you get stuck.
And life get tough, this is one of my tough days.
To make life easier with my c++ programming I wanted to use the make tool under unix.
I have 5 fieles :

I think the proble is with student.h because this file is not checked for any changes durring dewelopment of my work. Basic notes from my tutor says this about using make tool:

• if you change a header, any .cc file that depends on that header must be recompiled
• if you change a .cc file, that must be recompiled

But what about the relationship between studgrp.h and student.h?
Any suggestions?

As you can see this was part of my coursework. I must admit that to learn SQL was interesting experience however the course hasn't got appropriate backup. What I mean, our tutor answers been often confusing, not to much in notes and tutorials did not provide enought experience, for example to insert data in new attribute. Only think close to this for us was update already existing data. In the proces of learning it logicly come to me to do it exactly as populating table with INSERT INTO.
Now I know, I was wrong.

my name is Peter and I'm looking for somebody who can help me to understand how to read from external file without "destroing" existing inforamtion inside.

whole staff is based on book example which i'm trying to extend.
I have a programm which is working with database of 3 three accounts.
There is no problem to do operation on it(Deposit, Withdraw) and update data file. However if I insert there on start extra line which state how many accounts are there everything gets funy :(

and here is part of code which is looking for information on first line "3"
