Have you tried to do a SYSTEM RESTORE to before you uninstalled Mcafee?

If that works,you can use REGSEEKER to clean up your registry of the Mcafee stuff (Since doing a restore will put it all back in the reg (Most of it)) and then reinstall AVG (Since its keys will be gone)

As far as i know you can only delete this file from DOS.....

It is the main file for IE and contains URLS and such so you can easily go back to them w/p re-requesting the page,etc.......

I use DISK CLEANER to clear out all my history and once in awhile i boot to DOS and delete the file totally..... (Win98se)

Then search for ALL FILES CREATED ON THE DAY HE DL THE GAME (And delete anything that isnt recognized) Then run a full scan.......

I know several people that run ME and they have NO ISSUES at all on it.....

I have Win98 and i also have 8MB shared video (But i only have 64M of ram so 56 after the 8M)

I have gone into Bios and lowered the settings down to minimum (2M) but then everything on my monitor is slow as anything!! (Understandably)
