There are no tuff solutions if you can flowchart. I was having problems getting the searches hi-lite and line wrap to work properly. So I did a flowchart and fixed most of the bugs. http://www.telusplanet.net/public/stonedan/pict01.jpg http://www.telusplanet.net/public/stonedan/pict02.jpg Flowcharting well saved my bacon a number of times...

Don't worry about spamming. Most forums are all about the registrations. If you do anything that may mess with the registrations then you get banned. A lot of the really smart people don't like it when the common man disagrees. Spam away...

Don't worry about efficiency.. It used to matter when computers were run 24/7 Evenings were used for backups and system upgrades. Most computers use a fraction of their resources. Anything that requests user interaction could be as slow as molasses and still be blindingly fast.

http://www.coderanch.com/t/517172/md/Bestest-program You need to output the data after each read. Modified or original. You are working on a very important app. Years ago a friend said if he were to develop a new system all the data would be TEXT. That makes it easy to edit with a simple editor. …

How I would catalog police video. Play it fast forward and record that (just like movie pirates do) then post the results on the net. 4 hours of video down to 15 minutes. After that do a complete archive where the video is shown at fast forward or slow motion …

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHSAhQ_Fqjg at the 2 minute mark of this 3 minute video they start heckling me for my negative talk about the police. Less than a week before there was a front page story about cowboy cops in osoyoos. http://www.theprovince.com/news/iteam/Have+cowboy+cops+turned+Osoyoos+enforcement+into+rodeo/10318475/story.html These guys and girls are giving cowboys a bad name.

I'd like to implement a "enter any key to continue" in my VB5.0 application. The last time I needed that capability was a keypunch verify system in 1976. Now I want to be able to navigate between video segments by entering < or > etc.

It wouldn't be difficult to do with Spectate Swamp Desktop Search SSDS. I do it all the time. When I want to display some random large font delayed print questions. The only change that would be required would be to modify the search string element for that background job. Be …

Business users with their spreadsheets, accounting packages, contact lists, presentations, software packages and copies there of won't approach these limits. The less tech …

Reason #1 for editing video. There are 30,000+ laws in my province. You won't be videoing long before you catch someone, doing something illegal. Editing those out can save a lot of hassle. The laws make almost everything illegal; from seat-belts to rolling stops. Resulting in some very good video, …
