if you are an Afghan then why do you live in America?
I live in america because of decisions my grandparents have made. They wanted a better life. My grandfather attended my dream school and my father attended another of one my dream schools. To attend those schools and become wealthy at the end because of hard work, that would be the reason.
Want to know an irony about afghanistan? They appear as poor (they are but the media makes it worst) but a lot of them are rich people. The rate you find millionares in afghanistan would be more common in america (based off of population). I know this because my parents are afghans and their parents were wealthy and so was the city but unfortanetly, people are suffering at the same time. 6 year old kids would be forced to feed the family (about 6 or more) and they work in the cold (afghanistan is a very cold place) and they only make enough money to buy themselves maybe a piece of bread and that will support the family. I have been there and seen it with my own eyes, it is heart breaking to see such site.
People shouldn't judge other people, it is a cruel thing to do. I am not sure why people like xanti can't judge people because of their actions...

They are not stupid animals, they are actually very smart. I am not sure why you have so much prejudice over other countries. Every country has bad and good people. Remove that thought over who is best and who is stupid because you don't know who you are judging. Judge people by the actions of an individual, don't judge a group of people because one of them happened to be a rotten egg. Please stop your judgements, it offends people, just like how you did when you made a judgement about afghans.
btw, afghans are one of the smarts countries you can think of because they learn everything and people judge them due to poverty...
Give me only one example when Russia attacked someone.
They attacked afghanistan at one point and afghanistan ended up beating them (causing them to retreat)... they lost to a country that has not lost a war.
jgesapine: try not to spoon-feed them code. the point is to help them improve their skills, not to do their homework for them.
That unfortunately is something a lot of people don't understand... you don't just simply give everything away, you assist them to an extent where they can do this on their own... I mean, just like the old saying goes, "You fish the man a fish, he has dinner for a night. You teach him how to fish, he has food for life"... (probably not the best saying)
The university could have, as JorgeM said, only allowed people at their campus access it. Have you tried getting the information from another student, see if they can connect from out of the campus?

I heard that a lot of times it is a failure. There isn't really much of a point of this sort of service if most of the time they fail. I remember my friend tried to do something like this, except the twist was that it required your account (user/pass) and they hacked it...

Haha, i wish it were that easy. Anyone can have straight A's but they also look at your SAT's and ACT's plus all of your extracurriculars (sports, activities, programs, etc.)

Only if they announce it and you hear the alarm, then it is either a: lockdown, fire, or disaster drill... But the drill that we were forced to do (which really annoys me) would be their "war-drills", it was the same procedure as all the others but it didn't have a name nor was it announced. I asked the teacher why we do this drill and he said, "War gives no warnings! You can't ever be sure when someone nukes us!" (he said it in a way he was a general, to be funny) ... So yeah, i guess they still exist in some schools.
Medicine here is abs free, gas, electricity are very cheap.
We 100% lack that.

Just because he was russian, doesn't mean Russia should get all the respect. We respect the individual not the entire country. Sure, he had good calculations but we still could have got someone else to do it, I am pretty sure we had some guys with the same major(s).
Unfortunately, this thread is going beyond off topic. Lets stop talking about which country is best... Everyone is going to say their own country is best, even I would do that but what is the point... each country has it's advantages and disadvantages.
I recall when I was a young boy going through drills of getting under our desks at school. I recall wondering how that was going to help us when a rain of missiles were coming toward us. Lol..
We still have those drills for the elementary students.
I'm a first generation American in my family (family came to the US 50 years ago). I am very fortunate to have been born here and I'm extremely proud of my country as well and always concerned for its well being.
My parents were also born out of the country (from the middle east) and I was born here in the USA. I am proud to be living in the US.
Actually, you live nice lives because we got lose.
Actually, that is temporary but as long as you have faith and are productive, your life will get better.
