Using Windows Service to detect USB.

Hello there, been researching and doing some Windows Service development these days. I want to take my learning in to a higher level, I want to make a simple windows service that listens all the time and detects if a usb is plugged. What API should I use? Any suggestions and advice, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! :)

Might depend a bit on what the USB device is.
