Im 14 years old and my high school has an IT acadamy and i need to find out what field i want to work on the most....more or less i am going to keep my knowledge broad and not just specific to one field but i do need to base my career on something....So i need to know about the different types of fields and what your do...my dad is a desktop engineer andi think its cool. i think i might like a field in software more than hardware... does anybody have a chart or can tell me about different jobs and career fields that i can work on as i go through high school?

Some that I have played with:
programming
web design
networking
but the one that I settled on was network security. Its good that you're figuring it out now, by the time i graduated from high school I still didn't know what I wanted. Now i'm 23 and finally have it figured out.
