I can't get sound from DVDs on my DVD drive. I have tried Windows Media Player, Real Player and Nero Player...help?

I believe they are installed. I have sounds from windows, and CDs play with no problem.

I think you are not getting sound from CD-ROM's headphone port....right ?
If yes then you need to install a sound cable in CD-ROM to connect with Mainboard. This cable have only 3 wires in it and available at any computers store.
