I would think the effects negligible.

I would go with .co.in. It seems to be the nationwide standard (i.e. google.in redirects to google.co.in).

actually the site is focussed for india. For localization, it is better to choose between co.in and .in.

.co.in is more likely to be used by a domestic Indian business, and there are still millions of them that do not have their own websites. On the other hand, international companies tend to use .in.

Use .co.in its best and use more the .in domain in india.

See, .in is short and easy to learn where as .co.in sounds more like a business website. I recommend you to go with .in
