SEO is changing every day, but yes, I think think a big part of SEO is seeing what spammy SEO techniques people are trying to use, and find a way to counter them and prevent them from continuing to work. 2021 was all about guest blogging no longer being effective. I feel like that trend will continue. I also think Core Web Vitals will become a bigger signal.

SEO is changing day by day. Now it is more advanced in comparison to before. It is going to be much more sophisticated and difficult. The way we search and the way we buy is going to be different. Almost every aspect of the internet will be voice-controlled. That is the fact of life that we cannot change. Eventually, for better or for worse, everyone will be using voice search with assistance from AI. It will be interesting to see how the SEO trends change in order to adapt to this new way of searching.

SEO rankings are expected to become more competitive in 2022 by offering high-quality, helpful material to internet visitors. In the future, content that only seeks to catch the attention of its readers by connecting to unnecessary sources will not be as successful as today.

SEO keeps upgrading itself daily. Every year some new trend tries to take the digital marketing industry by storm. Here are some of the trends that, in my opinion, every marketer should keep following in 2022:

  • Last year the featured snippets were the hot topic as they helped the content to reach the top of SERP quickly. This year too, video content will be the key ingredient that will help you in getting on top.

  • Besides this, artificial intelligence will also play a major role in ranking the website. A few years back, Google launched Rank Brain, which plays a crucial role in ranking websites. So, marketers should watch out for it.

  • According to several surveys, it has been seen that long-form content gets the maximum amount of traffic. Any article which is around 3000 words retains the interest of the public and is also shared multiple times.

I think it completely depends on the topic. If it's a technical topic, then a long-form 3000+ word article is great. But if it's a news story, or something that is interesting to read from a mobile phone, I think 750 words is closer to the sweet spot of getting the point across but not being too boring or overwhelming, and still a fast read.

SEO is very unstable field. I think a lot of things is going to change. The only thing that matters is quality content and responsible managers.

I see more and more people getting a lot of traffic without backlinks. They have new websites with original contact and traffic skyrocketing.

By providing high-quality, valuable content to online users, SEO rankings are anticipated to become more competitive in 2022. Future material won't be as successful as it is now if its primary goal is to grab readers' attention by linking to unrelated sources.

Thank you for sharing the SEO trends with us.

I think soon SEO will change drastically. Too many spammy techniques appeared.

Well, for sure AI-created content is getting a lot of buzz lately!
