AdBrite is a very good alternative to AdSense. But adsense is really easy to implement and has stood the test of time so I tend to go with adsense

i agree with Mackone. AdSense has a much larger pool of advertisers and if you are new, they have loads of resources for you to read and learn about how to optimize the placement and integration of your ads.
