Hi, When I switch my computer on it works fine. However the monitor wont stay on for more than 3 seconds. The blue light comes on but I have to turn the monitor on and off to get the 3 seconds. A couple of days ago if I was really quick when I had the 3 seconds if I clicked on a programme in the start menu it would then stay on until I switched the computer off. Any suggestions guys I sooooooooooooo need my computer.

It sounds like a software issue, as you stated once you open an application, the screen would stay on. Does this problem occur before you reach Windows or not (meaning, does it happen when you see that Windows screen before you login)

Thank you fro replying. I have since discovered that the monitor is still under warrenty and they have now supplied me with a new one. Yipeeee. Thanks again!
