I replaced the dvd writer the other day but when I started the computer, the only thing that it shows is the graphic card. I tried to put back the old one (dvd writter) again it only shows the graphic card while the screen remain blank.
Can someone help me? My computer is a Dell Dimension 8400.
Everything worked Ok before this.

most likely cause is you jarred something loose ,unplug computer and remove and reset,the video card the ram and the ribbon cabe from the dvd to the motherboard things like that
