Toshiba laptop won't boot. HD ok, memory ok, put those in other laptop and they worked. CD spins, power light comes on and other green lights come one, fan comes on, but won't boot up. Plugged in external display, external display won't come up. Put external display on other laptop and it immediately has proper image. Where is microprocessor located. How do I uninstall it? Is there a reset button on the laptop? I can't find it.

Is your battery OK?

To reset the laptop, plug out the mains and take out the battery.

P.S. Mobo or CPU is most likely fried.

Try safely removing the battery and wait a few minutes before putting it back in.
Have you tried booting up with an AC adapter? Like Chaky noted, it could be the battery that's an issue.
