Hello to my Family at Daniweb !!!
I am getting to where I am taking older desktops and putting RAM and upgraded cpu's in them and then sell them.
My problem is how to go about finding accurate info on what RAM and cpu's go in what machines. Are there easy to work with and easy to understand webistes that anyone know about that would help me ?
I use Everest Home Edition to find out whats in them now.
Any and all help is very much appreciated !!!
Thank you !

Just find out the motherboard model and google for its manual. Thats the only real way. many motherboards will also need a BIOS update to support newer CPUs (if they support them at all)

CPU-z can be of some help in finding out what is in it at the minute.
