I just upgraded to a new motherboard and processor, the above motherboard and a P4 3.2. does anyone know if this motherboard supports old IDE drives? the only HD I have is an 2 year old maxtor 40G. When we tried to format the HD on my machine, it restarted every time the board tried to access the HD. My friend and I backpacked the HD onto his comp and reformatted it there. Now we can access the HD, but while installing XP, it blue screens during installation, does the same for all versions of windows that we have. We also tried to install windows on another older HD I had in the same machine with the same result.
