a quick question (i think i know the answer just want to confirm befor i go ahead)


in my pc ive got 3x 500gb hdds ive got 3x 1tb external hdds doing nothing so i am going to install them into the pc insted

ive done two disks, all apart from the system disk.

would i be right in saying to change this disk, cop the contents to another disk (for example disk f) and then rename that disk c and call this system


would the system boot from this ?

Definitely NOT. Even if you use a partition manager to change the drive letter.

what would be the best way to do this then ?

Clean install of Windows wherever you want it. Next time, use Norton ghost, to make yourself an installation backup.
