Hi everyone just a wee problem I'm having with a lcd screen if anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
When I log into my desktop I find tiny red horizontal lines that form into a small square, or oblong, but after about ten minutes they usually disappear. I don't think it's dead pixels because as far as I'm aware they're usually black, but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway any help would be much appreciated.

last time i had a problem with lines on the screen it just ended up being a bad cable that goes from the moniter to the pc

Thanks for your reply mate I will check that out. Hopefully it's not the pci-e expansion slot.
