My voltage readings from my power supply seem to be off and it is starting to worry me, especially my 5V rail.

PC Wizard 2009:
+3.3V : 3.47 V
+5V : 6.91 V
+12V : 12.40

Everest Ultimate Edition
+3.3V : 3.47 V
+5V : No reading
+12V : 12.35

SpeedFan:
+3.3V : 3.47 V
+5V : 6.85 V
+12V : 12.35 V

How bad is this that the rails are so overloaded? Do I immediately need to look for a new PSU? thanks

I would check those results with an actual multimeter to make sure the readings are accurate.

I say, 6.9 V instead of 5 is too high.

What you need to check are CPU and RAM voltages. They must not be THAT much higher.

HWMonitor would be a suitable tool for you.

If you don't know what are the nominal values, check your BIOS settings.
