A tv is not a great choice for a pc monitor. Like Thong_Ispector said, the display wont be so clear. I've plugged my laptop to my tv with S-video and small thing arent very clear. Its good for watching movies or playing a console style game like sports but not for usual pc use such as typing or internet browsing.
