My P.C is riddled with spyware so I decided to restore the image I'd backed-up using Powerquest Drive Image 5.0. The program requires you to create 2 rescue diskettes. I rebooted my P.C, set the floppy drive as 1st boot device, saved and exited. I inserted the 1st diskette, the initial motherboard logo and POST would come up then my screen just goes blank and nothing happens.
I thought I could have corrupt diskettes so I tried another set and the same thing happens. by this time I was really frustrated and decided to re-install XP on my C:. I set my C.D ROM as 1st boot device and rebooted with the XP C.D in and the screen went blank too!
