I am sure you guys know the game called World of Warcraft; well recently, while in raiding combat (alot of stuff goes on), my frame rate is TERRIBLE...i mean... like negative FPS. This used to not happen, and now it is. So starting my investigation of what the problem is, i noticed my video card was at 70C while in raids....so i was like wow that hot. So i put a CPU cooler on it (Yea a big socket 939 cpu cooler) and zip tied it so it made solid connection. Under load, its at MOST 40C. Problem wasnt solved still. I tried system restore (3 days back) and it still is pretty bad. Any ideas on where i should try next?

2.5GB of Ram (2x 1gb, 2x 256mb)
8400 GS + Super heat sink :D
