The laptop begins with a BIOS password lockout.
I am trying to reset the BIOS admin. password.
I am looking at the motherboard of this laptop and cannot locate the BIOS Chip for a hard reset.
I have located one prom with a number "24L" on it.

The only option to reset BIOS, would be to do a hard reset on the prom chip?

I sure someone out there can help me.

Take out the battery and you will see a little removable door toward the front of the computer it unplugs with a wire it is not a traditional cmos battery that looks like a coin.
