What is the best Graphic Card For my computer?

My specs are as follows:

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
2.20 GHz Performance Rated at: 4.4 GHz
2GB's Ram
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (build 7600), 32-bit
HD 225 GB's

My current Graphic Card is ATI Radeon X1550 Series
and apparently it sucks,
can someone please tell me what is the best graphic Card my Computer can take?
and Im under a budget so please, inexpensive and If more ram is needed to improve game performance such as the Sims 3? etc.

I would take a look at this article, your computer is fairly old so I would not spend more than $150 on a video card as your CPU will handicap it.

I will suggest you to purchase the nvidia graphic card for your computer. Because it provides batter graphics for the computer and the games. If you work on this than the graphics are looking very nice.
