Its dead I think...

First thing that happen was that it turned off automatically. When I then turn it on again, it worked for 30sec or so and then, suddenly, goes dead again.

The weird thing was that if I turned it on immediately after it crashed, nothing happened - the lights were on, and could hear the noises of it working but the screen was completely black...

But if I waited 20min or so, then it goes on again for 30sec and then crash...

I tried the quick restore CD’s (I have backups of my data) ... It started ok but at 92% (3rd CD) crashed....

Now if I turn it on nothing happen... black screen only =/ and does not respond to the quick restore CD’s...
Any suggestions?

It could be overheating ( I had a machine that showed the same symptoms) perhaps attempt to clear dust etc from fans and see if this works...
