I have a hp dv2000 series it's my experimental laptop was working fine when i unplugged it and since then only power light comes on have checked all the connections by opening it up but could'nt seems to get it working i have quiet a bit of experience disassembling and then rebuilding it from bottom up but this time it does'nmt seems to work,any help on starting it would be greatly appreciated.

Take out hard drive and plug it into another computer as a slave drive or external drive,it shows up in my computer but you can't access or open it?If so,you can retrieve your data from hard drive with data recovery software.
