I have 1 HD and 1 cdrw each set to master on seperate channels. I want to install a second HD. How do I set it up?

Set your currnt hard drive as the master and the new hard drive as the slave. Put them on the Primary IDE channel, it should be marked on your motherboard as IDE0 or IDE1, I do not remember which. Set up the CD-Rom on the secondary IDE channel as the master. Most IDE cables have three connectors one that connects to the motherboard and two that connect to devices. The connector farthest from the motherboard should be connected to the master device and the middle connector should be connected to the slave. Also make sure in you BIOS that you have the Secondary master controller enabled and set to auto detect. If that is not done your PC will be unable to find the new hard drive.
