Hi All,
new to forum. I've searched previous posts and cant find a similiar problem so I'm getting really worried.
about 5 seconds after booting my computer it powers down.
I have disconnected all the drives and PCI cards to see if I can isolate the problem but even with only mboard and CPU connected the same thing happens. All fans start as I boot up so it cant be overheating..or is it...............please help

I would bet that your heatsink on your processor is not pushed all the way down. Try putting that part together again and making sure you firmly make sure all the clips are clamped down (usually requires some force enough to think you are going to break the board).
