I was having problems with the laptop switching of at odd times,so I thought I would update to Vista all was going great untill the reboot,now it wont boot up at all,the fan fires up then switches off straight away and am left with a blank screen,so basically am left with an laptop that does not work at all now,I know there must be something very wrong ie maybe it needs the bin

take it to a laptop tech whats going on is it is over heating so to protect it self it shuts down ps also there could be some dry solder--ram could be failing it could be any number of things so the best bet is a laptop repair shop i cant look at so i can not fix our find the problem -best of luck
