Hello,

When I try to boot up I get an error message of PXE-E08. Does anyone know what this means and what causes it? I am running a CPCI-745 Intel processor board from Motorola.

Thanks!

Open your bios, and check to see if boot to nic is enabled. It may not be exactly boot to nic, it may be like network boot etc. If it is enabled disable it and the error should dissapear.

the problem is that I need to PXE boot in my configuration to boot different linux images. What could be causing this error, and how can I fix it?

Thanks!!

Does it say media test failure with the error?

The error says:

PXE-E08 eeprom write error.

Thanks for your help!
