A couple days ago, I found that my computer had a virus (my homepage kept switching to about:blank and a little search window would pop up if I tried to google anything). Spyware Stormer found "NetObserve" and seemed to remove it, X-Cleaner found "Iefeats" and couldn't remove it, and in Add/Remove Hardware, I found "Shopping Wizard" (which I couldn't remove either). I followed the instructions on a site(http://www.short-media.com/forum/showthread.php?p=172774#post172774) and ran HSRemove(http://majorgeeks.com/download4286.html), then Ad-Aware SE, Spybot, and then AVG anti-virus. Then, I installed and ran the program Hijack_This.exe (http://www.short-media.com/forum/sho...84&postcount=2). All of this seemed to remove the virus! Unfortunately, the next morning I went to turn the computer on (after my dad had turned it off the previous night) and this is what happened:
the third black screen with white writing (I dunno what it's called) came up, and when it said:
Verifying DMI Pool Data.....
Boot from CD:
Boot from CD:
another black screen came up with a blue rectangle saying "Off Mode in 5 Sec." and it restarted.
Every time it gets to the "Boot from CD" part, it restarts (so, of course, I am writing this on a different computer).
What do I do?

Sounds like your CMOS is messed. Enter the BIOS setup by following the instructions "to enter setup". The find the boot order, and make sure that hard drive is above CD. If that still doesn't work, your Windows install is messed up, and you will need to reinstall that.
