Newbee here. I am not very computer literate. But I do know how to research. From the homework I have done. I discovered that my comp is a "no POST." I tried disconnecting the power and battery to no avail. I did a PAS alternate boot to attain the lock LEd activity.
I have an Inspiron6000. I get a number-caps-scroll lock code that is flash-on-off. When I hold fn and power on, the hard drive light and scroll lock light is on for a few seconds. Then it goes to the flash-on-off lock code.
I have done nothing new to my laptop. No new components or software. But based on what I have read on Daniweb, it sounds like I have a hardware problem.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated.
