Hi there.
I have a working LCD screen from a Sony SR5K and want to use it with my desktop with a VGA/DVI output. Any pointers if this is possible? I also have the motherboard with the NeoMagic video chip and the connector (40 pin, but all are not used)

I think it is possible, after all, the lcd's on laptops are just monitors. You might want to google it, i'm pretty sure there will be some modding that you'll have to do.

hey aarijk... did you ever end up finding what to do? its been a while since.... and im currently in the same position... i have a laptop screen with an inverter... comes from a Thinkpad T23
