what's the best music player to use with linux ubuntu that has all the perks but not alot of plugins

Jump to Posttheres a lot of available media players for linux , mpd (probably the smallest very configurable though), amarok (huge package) does a lot though are the two i use.

My Ubuntu 9.10 come with Rhythm box. Works great. Other like VLC, Helix.
