I believe because of its stability, speed, hardware resources and hardware support. Window 7 doesn't support my Lexmark 3100 all in one printer especially the scanner. Visit to the Lexmark websiet doesn't help. The only letdown is the security. For those who have hardware constraint will happily use Window XP.

Does ASCF even work on Window 2000? The last time I check it only meant for Window XP and higher. I maybe wrong but it is good to check how compatible it is with Window 2000 to be on the safe side.

I always use VLC (Video Lan) to watch movies or TV series. Never have a problem. Can give a try. Another thing you may want to consider is to clean the registery and defrag the hard disk.

Check whether the video is in hi-res, check your computer spec is high enough to play those video, check what is the files size of the video, check the video codec.

I have no problem going to the website. Maybe you can try this. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Internet Option -> Advance. Press "Reset". Also clear all history,cookies and cache. Scan the computer for virus.
