For me this is easy. I press the reset on my router till it factory resets and I set it up again. Easy, takes about 10 minutes.

It is very easy to find the stored Wi-Fi password on Mac. has also mentioned
a great step to reset your current passowrd. I will suggest using the Keychain app as it
is very helpful to find your passwords. Open the keychain app and follow the steps to
get your password.
