i locked my computer with a password, just like any old password, and i know i remember it, but the password doeseont work to unlock my computer, how do i fix it and whats going on?

Jump to Postis it a system passowrd or a bios password? if it's a bios password just open your tower or cpu and look for jumper-4 usually has 3-pins remove the jumper from the first two and set it to the next two. if it's a system password which operating system

no, i've tried everything, all my passwords and caps no caps everything. i dont know why its not working, or if i forgot it or what, now im just trying to find a way around it. thanks for your help
