I'm not exactly sure whats going on here, I'm running out of space on my hard drive, but I would have plenty if I could just get my CD burner to work.

It can read cds fine, but it does not want to detect blank ones, and it is NOT the burner itself, (its an external, I tried it on other computers, and it's fine), but when I set the default burner to Plextor, it says it is in use by 'null'.

-Windows 2000 5.00.2195 Service pack 4
-Custom PC
-nero burning software to make images from cue files, but the program isn't running when this happens..
-Not sure how I got this way
-It does happen every time

This problem is becoming worse, I need to keep files to burn, and I am running out of space, is there ANY suggestions?
