Hi there,

After using WinFax Pro on an XP machine, I am trying to set up Windows Fax and Scan.
Reading through the posts - its seems that I am lucky to have Windows Fax and Scan..;-))

It is not all good news, though.

We use a 'long distance carrier' for our long distance calls (10 10 987). All of our long distance calls are prefixed with this number.

In WinFax Pro it was possible to configure the prefix to have a three 'pauses' before the fax number to be called, allowing the long distance carrier to respond.

I can't find a way to do this in Windows Fax and Scan.

Does anyone know of a way to use a long distance carrier?

Thanks in anticipation.

Allan
