Hi,
I am new here and I admit that I don't know much about computers, but something has shown up in my folders and I have no idea what they are: ntuser.dat LOG1 and ntuser.dat LOG2.

Are any of you experts out there familiar with this? If so, please let me know what it is and if it should be in my folders.

Try This:
Go to regedit, save the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\UsersFiles\NameSpace\DelegateFolders
by exporting it.
Then delete it, restart, and its all back as it should be.
