Thanks again for your suggestions, they work.

Someone may have access to a Top Secret hard drive via the web.

1-I would like to erase the "XP Startup" line from a Top Secret hard drive. OK, no problem.
2-Then install a new hard drive and put XP on the new one. OK no problem.

Both hard drives are to be left in the same computer. OK no problem.

3-When the machine is restarted, is there a problem; only one has the XP Start up line?
4- Should the new hard drive be Master and the old hard drive Slave - or what?

5-Could I remove the new hard drive and key the "XP Startup" line back in the original?

Access to the Top Secret hard drive via the web is not acceptable.

what the fugg is that all about !!!
