need more info ,as different manufactures use different keys .or do you mean just booting to the winxp cd and formatting and reinstalling winxp or do you mean using a restore partition on the harddrive of your computer
some more info on what computer you own, like make and model .

if its a dell its normally f11 or control + f11
its that on some IBMs too
