i downloaded borland turbo C explorer in my xp
but now i have shifted to vista the problem is that when ever i try
to install it shows a message box asking for .NET v1.1 i downloaded it also but when i install .Net v1.1 it gives the following error

application has created an exception which could not be

Then try it again, but make sure their are no previous .NET frameworks installed.

i have vista ultimate it har all .net frameforks installed but v1.1 is not & is not installing didd u see the snap shot
Are you sure it is a .NET problem. You are not supposed to have previous versions of.NET if you have up to date versions. What version were you last using with XP?
on xp i had installed .net v1.1, 2.2, 3.0
