from time to time my windows will freeze and i have to hard restart the computer. Also if Im on an mmo or Ventrilo my mike will not work. I cant figure either out I have tried everything and now its time to face plant the keyboard...help

Make sure Windows is up to date, and look for updated drivers for your soundcard at the pc's manufacturer's website. Look for fixes and enhancements at the website as well.
