The URL posted by points to an Atlas/ATDMT ad‑tracking endpoint — that tag is normally an advertising/redirect request, not a traditional virus. Blank windows like the one shown were frequently caused by a broken or misbehaving ad unit (many reports tied to webmail views). ATDMT — Wikipedia. (en.wikipedia.org)

Fast triage (applies when the popup only appears while the mail window is open): try a different browser or an incognito/private window, disable browser extensions/toolbars, and test mail from another device. If the pop‑up stops, it’s almost certainly an ad/network issue and can be mitigated quickly by blocking the ad host (hosts file or browser “restricted sites”) or using an ad‑blocker while the network fixes the ad slot. Practical notes and similar fixes are documented in reporting on ATDMT ad behaviour. [ghacks.net article]. (ghacks.net)

If the window appears everywhere (different browsers/devices), step up diagnostics: capture the page’s network activity (DevTools → Network → export a HAR) to see which resource triggers the new window; boot to Safe Mode or use an offline rescue environment to scan for potentially unwanted programs; inspect startup items and scheduled tasks; check router DNS settings and reset the router if DNS has been altered (router compromise can inject redirects/ads). Guides for HAR capture and DNS‑hijack symptoms are useful at this stage. (developers.cloudflare.com)

Note on older OSes: Vista and XP are no longer supported and remain vulnerable — upgrading or isolating those machines reduces long‑term risk. As proposed, scanning a drive from another clean machine or using a bootable scanner is a robust way to remove stubborn infections when an on‑system scan is inconclusive. (support.microsoft.com)

if you get an answer to this id love to know!! This pop up is driving me crazy and I cant get rid of it!!!

wtf??

use malwarebytes, no adware, but the best way to get rid off it is to run your hard drive as a slave in another computer and have it scan with malwarebyte or any other good antivirus. Another good one also is spyware doctor. and then use Glary Utilities .Also run smart virus remover, ccleaner. Just google all this and you will find it easy. Good website for XP commands:
