total security protection software.

i have total security installed on my laptop,i have entered add/remove programmes but i still cant remove it.it keeps poppind up asking me to run a detection for spyware/ardware.....it is annoying me ...how do i get it off my system????????????

i currently use avg free and find that good,i do not want this total security on my laptop....please help me to remove it...
