I am using a windows xp pro as my operating system. I want to upgrade it to windows vista. I heard that you can upgrade xp to vista without re moving your files using the upgrade copy for vista. May someone help me how to do it. Thank you for the concern.

Jump to PostForget Vista and upgrade to Windows 7. But you will have to do a clean install, not an upgrade. Backup all files you want to save before starting because Windows 7 installation will reformat the hard drive.
