Hi all, Im having a few problems with my laptop. Ive resently reinstall windows XP media centre after it was having problems.
When the laptop is powered off for more than an hour then the laptop will crash on the windows xp loading screen. When i reboot the machine i select boot with last known good config and the laptop works fine after the reboot.
Ive run a check disk and it says the disk is good. But also the laptop wont allow me to install the ethernet driver because it crashes for some reason. When i reboot the machine when its working fine it also boots up with no problems.
Ive used the recovery console which seemed to make some form of difference for a couple of hours then it went back to crashing on boot. Ive removed a stick of ram as i thought it was bad ram.
